is it really free?
Yes during public beta. We may add a paid tier later for unlimited alerts, multi-stop optimization, and the AI dossiers — but the basic flex search will always have a free tier.
do you book flights for me?
No. Every deal links to the airline or OTA where you complete the booking. We never see your payment info.
why does my search take 25 seconds?
We're scraping live aggregator pages and normalizing the response. Subsequent identical searches return from cache in under a second.
the price is different on the airline site?
Cached scrapes can lag by minutes. Currency conversion, taxes, and bag fees also differ. Always confirm on the airline.
can I see flights from anywhere?
Set your origin (e.g. BOS), leave destination blank, and hit run scan — that's the 'anywhere' mode. The Surprise Me feed (coming) does this automatically every hour.
i got 0 deals — broken?
Most often the scraper got rate-limited or your window is too narrow. Try a 60-day window or specify a destination — the Duffel fallback only kicks in with a destination set.
do you sell my data?
No. We store your email, your home airport, your saved alerts, and your cached search results. Nothing else. See the privacy page for specifics.
can I delete my account?
Yes — sign in, go to Console, and click sign out → delete account (coming in v0.2). Or email us at hello@thirdpolararch.com and we'll wipe it within 48h.
